Terms & Conditions

1.            Definitions

“Company” means Faze Electrical Contractors Pty Ltd.

“Customer” means the person or entity engaging the Company.

“Works” means all electrical services, labour, materials and goods supplied by the Company.

 

2.            Acceptance

Acceptance of a quote, request to proceed, or payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

 

3.            Quotes & Variations

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated. Variations, additional works, or unforeseen site conditions will be charged separately.

 

4.            Pricing

All prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise. Prices may change due to material cost increases prior to commencement.

 

5.            Payment Terms

Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date unless agreed otherwise. Late payments may incur interest at 10% per annum plus recovery costs.

 

6.            Progress Payments (larger jobs)

For larger projects, the Company may require progress payments.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, progress payments may be invoiced at the following stages:

      •     Rough-In Stage

      •     Fit-Off Stage

      •     Practical Completion

Progress invoices must be paid in accordance with the invoice terms.

The Company reserves the right to suspend works if progress payments are not received by the due date, without liability for delays or costs arising from suspension.

 

7.            Retention of Title

Ownership of goods remains with Faze Electrical Contractors Pty Ltd until payment is received in full.

 

8.            Site Access & Safety

The Customer must provide safe and unrestricted access. Delays caused by access or unsafe conditions may be charged.

 

9.            Compliance Certificates

Where a Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES) or other compliance documentation is required, the Company reserves the right to withhold issuance of such certificates until full payment of all outstanding invoices relating to the works has been received.

 

10.          Warranty

Workmanship is warranted for 12 months. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied materials. Warranty excludes misuse, third-party works, power surges, or fair wear and tear.

 

11.          Liability

Liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective work to the extent permitted by law. Nothing excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

 

12.          Cancellation

Cancelled works may incur charges for completed work, ordered materials, and administration costs. Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered.

 

13.          Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
